MY JOURNEY
In 2018 my journey to public service began when I unseated an incumbent to become the Super District 7 Commissioner and in 2024, I ran against the machine to become the sixth Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County. DeKalb is the fourth largest county in the State of Georgia and is filled with unlimited potential, diversity, unique communities, and abundant land and economic development opportunities. DeKalb is entering an unprecedented period of strategic growth; I am addressing the issues that will position us for excellence and materialize the DeKalb we all know is possible. I am counting on your support to help me move DeKalb forward – please support my campaign today.
To become a Host Committee Member (HCM) please call Keisha Carter at 770.820.4084. HCM’s must pledge $3,300 in financial support and are encouraged to organize friends, family, neighbors, and all the community members in the ongoing support of Lorraine Cochran-Johnson for DeKalb CEO.
The ongoing ability to spread my message is important and made possible through your financial support. With your support I carried a majority vote in 174 out of 191 precincts. I belong to the residents of DeKalb County, and I am eternally grateful and humbled by the support and confidence they have vested in me. My journey and work represent possibility and hope. If you believe in my vision, capacity, and commitment to the people of DeKalb please support my campaign – together we win.
