Vision
Lorraine Cochran-Johnson
My vision is to serve the public and deliver essential services in the most effective and efficient manner possible, while creating thriving and resilient communities where residents are proud to live, work, and raise their families, as I assemble a productive team who is committed to the people they serve – while demonstrating the highest degree of competency and integrity.
I will support programs, policy, and initiatives that align with the values of our diverse interest and collective goals for a resilient DeKalb. I will continually reimagine DeKalb County and the changing dynamics of our communities, to ensure optimal outcomes for all residents, stakeholders, and citizens – while taking necessary actions to materialize healthy, vibrant communities, where each resident has access to optimal service delivery, home ownership, education, economic opportunities, and a high quality of life.
