In 2018 my journey to public service began when I unseated an incumbent to become the Super District 7 Commissioner and in 2024, I ran against the machine to become the sixth Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County. DeKalb is the fourth largest county in the State of Georgia and is filled with unlimited potential, diversity, unique communities, and abundant land and economic development opportunities. DeKalb is entering an unprecedented period of strategic growth; I am addressing the issues that will position us for excellence and materialize the DeKalb we all know is possible.
